So, it is December. And it is cold and windy and a little drizzly. Monday night my family and I just sat around while it was raining and lightning, ate a little supper and went to bed. It was lightning but I didn't think much about it. See, I have a storm phobia and I have gotten a lot better with the freaking out and looking for a cellar every time it sprinkles on my windshield.
We wake up, I take the kids to school and I see my friend C.
C. "Well, we were without electricity until this morning."
Me. " Why?"
C." We had a tornado" And shes looking at me like, are you stupid?
Me."When?"
We had a tornado and I slept through it. But, come to find out, it started a little bit down the way from our house, so we could not hear it. It started out by C.s house and traveled on down. Poor C. awakened by a semi-truck sound coming towards her and I'm in la la land.
Anyways, it destroyed 2 homes, took out a lot of barns and just devastated families.
This homes roof was ripped off, and the right side up-stairs was demolished.

This is one of the homes that was completely demolished. The family was inside and they are all just fine. I drove by this home this morning and it just hit me how fast your world can be turned up-side down. Literally. There are a lot of people out there helping to pick up. Wood, metal, trash and all kinds of items are just spread all through out the fields.

This is a visible trail it left behind while it was forming.

This was a barn. There is a truck still under there.

This was a storage barn for hay.

I do not really know where the barn stood in this photo, but there was one.
Please pray for the families.
